Can you export Figma to PSD?
Not natively - Figma exports flat images. Roundtrip writes selected frames out as PSD documents with grouped, editable layers.
Does the PSD keep my Figma layers?
Yes. Frames and groups become layer groups with the same nesting, names and stacking order.
Is text still editable in Photoshop?
Yes. Figma text becomes Photoshop type layers. Fonts must be installed locally to render identically; substitutions are listed in the report.
What happens to components and instances?
Instances are expanded to plain groups, since PSD has no instance link. Each one is noted as NOTE · EXPANDED.
What happens to auto layout and variables?
Both are resolved - positions become fixed, variables become literal values - and every resolved property is listed in the report.
Does Roundtrip upload my file anywhere?
No. Export runs locally in the plugin. Licence activation is the only network call.
Can I export large frames or whole pages?
Yes. Frames export in a batch, one PSD each plus a single report; long documents and high export scales simply take longer.
